Mac Slice was designed with privacy as the foundational principle. When you scan your Mac, analyze your directories, or strip application architectures, 100% of the computation happens locally on your machine. We do not upload your file structures, your file names, or your system information to our servers.
To improve Mac Slice, we optionally collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage metrics (such as how many gigabytes were cleared on average). This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) and can be fully disabled in the app settings.
When you purchase Mac Slice Pro, your payment is securely processed by our merchant of record, LemonSqueezy. We do not store or process your credit card information. LemonSqueezy handles all payment details and issues your license key via encrypted channels.
